 About Our teeth

   Our teeth come from all over the world. Most of our large teeth are from right here in Florida. We carry a large variety of Bone Valley teeth. In our opinion we have some of the best teeth in the world. We offer a wide range of teeth as well, from collector’s teeth to large scrap teeth and everything in between. If you do not see what you are looking for on our website or need special help, please call our office for assistance.

Our Rating System

Hear is a look at how we rate our teeth. The center tooth pictured above and  left would score 9 out of 10 in all categories listed below. It is a collectors quality tooth and has an excellent resale value. A 10-rated tooth below and to the right of the center tooth is considered gem quality. This tooth is the best of the best and is very rare and exspensive.

Quality and Ratings: Quality ranges from 1 to 10, 10 being the best possible. The overall rating of the tooth is graded on the following to achieve the overall condition and quality of the tooth in question. Tip, Gum, Enamel, Serrations and Color. Restorations:  Large teeth in excellent condition are very rare to find. Restorations done well can enhance the tooth. Most of the restorations on larger teeth are in the gum area, with some enamel work if damaged badly. All teeth we sell that are restored have a (rest) in the specifications relating to the part of the tooth that was restored. Example: (Gum: 2rest) This means that the gum has a rating of 2 and has been restored...

Deformed Teeth: Some teeth we find are deformed. These teeth are very rare and  special. Not all deformations are the same, so each specimen is unique. We have teeth that range in size from 1/2" to 7" that are deformed. Deformed teeth come in many different shapes and sizes. Some teeth have bite deformations while others have twists and bends in the enamel. If you see (def) in the specifications then the tooth has some sort of deformity. Example:(Enamel:7def) This means that the Enamel rating was 7 and has a deformity in it.  Additional information is provided to the purchaser upon request.

Collection Sets:  Sharky’s Shop offers collections sets for Megalodon and Mako teeth. Collections are multi piece sets that are custom tailored to fit your specific needs. Pricing Information

Each tooth is unique and is evaluated on an individual basis for overall quality and priced accordingly.

We offer wholesale pricing for collection sets and bulk teeth purchases, to qualified resellers. Call for pricing.

Large wrapped teeth are considered custom orders. For production, please allow us 2-3 weeks on custom orders over 10 pieces. All large teeth we wrap here at Sharkys Shop are considered Jewelry grade and rate 8 or higher on our rating system mentioned above. Teeth range in price from $10.00 to $200.00 and in size from 1-1/2" up to 3". Please call for pricing and availability.

18kt, 14kt Gold or Sterling Silver Tooth Caps with Bail. Sharky’s Shop offers large modern day and fossilized shark teeth caps and bails that are created in 18kt, 14kt Gold and Sterling Silver. Each is hand crafted by our master jeweler. Each piece can take up to 3 days to complete and contain as much as 1 oz. of gold or silver. Some caps are crafted with a highly polished gum and others are beautifully textured. The price for these teeth varies depending on the amount of Gold or Silver used in the cap. All teeth are rated 9-10 on our rating scale and are jewelry, gem grade. Sizes range from 1-1/2" to 3". Capped modern day or fossilized teeth prices start around $100.00 per tooth and are a custom build orders. Please allow 4-6 weeks for custom orders. Pictured below are just some of our teeth.
